Description
Horseradish Plants - Bedford Variety
Armoracia rusticana Bedford Horseradish
Grow in a fertile well-drained soil in full sun. Prepare soil deeply and plant with tip of thong around 10cm below the surface. Space 30cm to 45cm apart.
With its small white springtime flowers and crinkly green leaves horseradish looks fairly harmless, but beneath the surface lies the hot-tasting root which makes the finest accompaniment to beef there is.
Supplied as "Ready to Plant" huge deep cell young plants.
