"Bedford" variety is what we classify as the standard British horseradish. It has developed its flavour over many years of being grown in the Bedford area, mostly in heavy clay type soil. 

Roots are supplied by weight, grams. 29g to the ounce.

Roots of Horseradish are harvested from November onwards, usually around the time of the first frosts. We dig up fresh supplies and wash, package and ship, without removing the outer skin of the root, this means your getting the ultimate quality. Vaccum Packed to preserve freshness in transit.
