"Superior" variety, that gives brighter colour that lasts longer. Our own production of 'Hidcote Superior' produces a better quality product, that provides a more even and constant quality plant. Great for containers, in the border or for edging. Our plug plants are supplied ready to "pot on" and provides a very low cost alternative to grow a first class product. Lavender Hidcote is very easy to grow from plug plants, and is usually winter hardy, which means you don't need to grow from scratch every year.

Dwarf variety with deep purple-blue flowers. Height around 40cm.

Who doesn't appreciate the Hardy English Lavender !

This is a lovely lavender for edging paths and borders, the aromatic foliage perfumes the air if you brush against it. It also works well in a gravel garden, or clipped into a formal sphere for a contemporary look.

The flower-spikes are highly attractive to bees and other nectar-loving insects. Works well, as a low hedge along a path, direct planted in the border in groups of 3 - 5 - 7 etc. And always works in a container !

Garden Care:

Cut back the stalks after the flowers have faded. Carefully trim back in April, taking care not to cut into old wood. Remember... this is the hardy lavender version, some versions of lavender are not hardy !

Attractive to Bees and Butterfly's

Height Around: 40cm
