Hot Pepper Mexibell F1 looks like a sweet pepper, but it’s not. This unusual hybrid has the looks of a 3-4 lobed blocky sweet pepper (3-4in diameter), but deliveries a hot chilli heat similar to a hot “Anaheim” pepper.

A Habanero type pepper specifically bred by the New Mexico State University to deliver the entire excellent Habanero flavor without the extreme heat.

Anaheim chilli peppers are large meaty pods that are mild in heat but sweet in flavour with large conical shaped fruits that reach between 15-20cm long by 3cm wide. They mature from dark green to a glossy dark red and have a shiny smooth skin.

This is the variety that is classified as True English Lavender and where other varieties come from, eg Hidcote, Munstead, etc.
