Fast-growing, Eucalyptus perriniana (Spinning Gum) is a small evergreen tree or large shrub of open, spreading habit adorned with smooth bark, flaking in ribbons, off-white, gray, or green.

Rich with a sweet, menthol-like fragrance, the aromatic foliage is rounded bluish-green when juvenile, lance-shaped, pendulous, and silver-green when adult.

In summer, abundant clusters of 3 creamy-white flowers are borne amongst the foliage.

This Eucalyptus makes a lovely specimen tree. Prized by florists, the stems with juvenile leaves are frequently used in flower arrangements. Ideal subject for pot growing. Will grow in most soil types except chalk.
